Diamond Snowfall (Christmas Event 2022)
Snow.
Snowfall was no different no matter what time of year it was, high up on the mountain tops of Gaia. Yet a special spirit washed over the citizens of the mighty city. A new town had suddenly appeared in the coldest enclosure of Gaia's many mountains. This town lit up with lights of magic and technology visibly vibrant and encouraging. Few had even an idea where this town came from. But upon entering a warmth came over the visitors and the cold only livened up their awareness of how wonderful it all was. The citizens of this town were not descendants, but small fairy-like mythical creatures. However, even more unlike descended they were made entirely of ice and cold. Their blood was no longer flowing but their forms still mimicked a living being all too well. Wearing clothes and hats as if out on a special occasion.
Not many of these small icy citizens spoke, but their gestures were readable as kind and friendly. Most importantly they were handing out gifts. Decorated boxes with perfectly wrapped bows on top. This snowy white place was nearly perfect in appearance and atmosphere.
Suddenly the cloudy, snow-falling sky opened up with a whirlwind. Descending from its center was an almost glowing figure, accompanied by several darker figures. The Dragon Queen, Allo Niscent has arrived. She effortlessly floated down despite not having any wings. With massive guards by her side with stone-like armor. With the snow no longer falling a bit of the town's majesty was removed, and under direct light, one can tell that the buildings were made of ice as well. The Queen revealed a bit on her arrival, but she was not content as of yet.
One of her guards handed her a gift box. She unwrapped it with one pull and opened it. "Ah I see." She reached inside and revealed a diamond dragon scale. "Material desires. This place is feeding on our desires. But for what purpose...?" She pondered. "There must be a source to this magic.." Looking up high at the top of a small hill in the town was a tall building covered in a cloudy mist. "I sense that may be where the lords of this place may be." With a swift leap, she and her knightly guardians soared to the high place.
"I've heard legends of this place. But never have I seen it with my own eyes." The Queen said a few moments after arriving. Sitting in a large chair, more than twice the size of a kingly seat, was a giant red-suited white-bearded man. He sat with incredibly large fingers scribbling onto paper. "Ah yes, come in! You are the Queen of Gaia! About time you've shown up!" He chuckled. "Ya see I have revealed this town to you as a reward for doing such a splendid job in defending your kingdom from that no-good Nuxta! So the hearts desires of all descended who have valiantly fought against the evils of this world and your citizens will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to partake in this town's yearly activity!
This year's Yule is sure to be a blast!" He winked behind two small gold-framed glasses.

Quests!
Keep Nuxta's Influence out of the Town! - Dark Wraiths have been appearing from dark portals around town. Find the source and destroy it to keep the town safe. There are 3 portals in total! Those that help in this quest will gain notoriety throughout the town and will receive +1 extra gift each round.
Ride a Reindeer - A simple quest. Ride the reindeer and try your best! Roll a 1d10 1-3 you fall off 4-7 you manage but barely! 8-10 You master it and get to keep a young flying reindeer to one day be your steed! Beastkin gets a +1 to the roll. Those with experience riding steeds get a +1 to their roll.
Locate the Gift Thief! - Every turn a thief is going to steal from players unless you stop them! Once located and defeated all stolen items will return to their owners! You will gain a key to the city as a reward! Allowing you to enter any door anywhere for up to 5 uses!
Win a snowball fight! - Challenge an Icy Fairy to a snowball fight!
Icy Fairy - Size: One foot tall Abilities - Cold body - Immune to ice type. Swift - Can move at high speeds and maneuver with grace. Ice Conjure/Control - Can conjure snow and ice and control where it goes. Attack Pattern - Roll a 1d10. (Keep Count of current snowballs, if none, cannot throw.)
