Aela continued down the dark halls, following her little guide, while being followed by a ghastly spirit. Its moans warned of its presence and if not for Aela's unnatural speed it would have reached in little time. "Damn spirits always attracted to me! They know I hold half of the key! They ALWAYS know!" She complained aloud. She pulled from her waist her spell firing device. The one used earlier to free Sahale, and fired at the ghost behind her.
With a pained scream, the ghost seemed to feel the pain of the holeshot through it. The hole began to whirl as a spiral of darkness sucked the spirit in leaving nothing behind of it. "Damn. Four shots left. Best make this quick!" She continued until she reached another group of cells. Inside were various creatures, ones only found in Gaia. "Bingo." She began to look through them bypassing them and looking inside.
Mythic beasts, ghoulish creatures, even beautiful natural entities such as nymphs were all locked away here. Even worse their half descendant offspring were here as well. Descendants born with these creatures as parents are very rare. If at all it was mostly forced by one of either party and the offspring commonly cast out of descendant society. Only the nomads have been said to commune with the less elegant creatures. Likely in hopes to gain their favor in the wild.
These were likely the product of Therosi's attempt to create new bloodlines. A theory all those who study the Therosi know deep down is their true goal. "Come here little one." A child whose flesh glowed like a transcendent creature sat quivering in its corner, alone. Its outer appearance was unlike any descendant commonly found. "You're a precious jewel aren't you?" Aela smiled confidently as she opened the cell door and stepped inside.

The seconds ticked as Aela came into contact with this child. This unknown entity. Selene watched Aela step out of the dungeon cell with the child in her arms. Its soft white and cyan glow illuminated the halls and lit the path she walked. Within seconds Therosi guards appeared, red hooded, but lightly armored and carrying weapons. "Drop the child!" They demanded.
At the same time, other Therosi began to arrive behind Velok. Making Sahale's odds of escape zero. With the growing light from down the hall, however, Sahale and the Therosi would see a glimpse of what was happening where Aela was. A flash of light and a cackle of what looked like electricity erupted from the depths of the dungeon.
With little effort in her step to hide her presence Aela approached holding the glowing child. Her own body having a faint glow as well. "Well well well. Looks like I've won a special prize." She held the sleeping child gently. Swirling sparkles of light surrounding her now she looked at Sahale with a cocky smile. "You seem to be having a good time playing with her."
"Kill her!" Blood magic conjured projectiles were hurled at her but vanished into thin air before contact. "Nice try. But I'm getting out of here!" The woman pointed her weapon to the ceiling. But before she could pull the trigger the child in her arms began crying. The cries shook the souls of all who heard it. The world-shaking in their minds.
With a slow rise, the ceiling began to turn into a hole and the child in Aela's arms began to float up. Aela held on to the child's hand as they both floated upwards, breaking through the ceiling of the dungeon and the building it sat upon. "Shit kid...!" Aela exclaimed as she looked down at the hole left behind. "Aren't we high enough? Mind getting us down?" She said a tad nervously as the two continued to rise above the building.
"After them! Use the collar's curse!" One of the Therosi shouted. Pulling from his robe half a skull without the jaw. With seals written on its forehead with blood. "Binding seal enact your curse's power!" The child then began to plummet from the sky. Aela with it. However, she grabbed the kid and landed on the roof. "What happened?" She looked at the kid's neck and saw the black collar around it. "I'll have to take care of this later. For now. Escape." She leaped from the rooftop and to others before vanishing towards the upper district.
Soon a strange report came flying into the civilians' hands. Aelithia the Candor has been spotted in town. Those following her trail for years began to arrive within the city of Gaia. The hunt for her and her major bounty has begun.
