Appearance: In keeping with her pure Lassa heritage, Essyila was born with webbed hands and feet, and pale blue skin. Additionally, she possesses pectoral fins running along her slender arms and legs that are matched by a pair of pink and purple fins that accentuate her ears. Her horns are smaller than average, yet what they lack in size, they make up for in their abundance. A crown of small coral-like horns sits atop her forehead, acting as a divisor between her thin face and her long jet-black hair which consistently floats about her head as if she were underwater (even on dry land).
Abilities:
Blood control (Water)- Can form shapes of blood around them within sight up to 10 feet away and up to a 20-foot radius. When touching a creature with blood inside of it can manipulate the blood into shapes up to 2-feet in radius. (-5 Stamina per activation, -1 Stamina per minute of prolonged use. Only on blood near the skin.)
Water conjuration (Water)- Can conjure balls of water from the atmosphere. (-5 Stamina per activation. Cannot be done in dry areas. Takes 5 minutes per 1-inch ball of water. to form.)
Water manipulation (Water) - Can manipulate water up to 50 feet around within sight or sense into shapes and levitate them and throw them up to 200 mph.
Water sensing- Can sense the location of a large body of water up to a mile away.
Electricity absorption - Can absorb electricity up to 5000 volts.
Water Healing (Water)- Can rapidly heal when the wound is under water. (Reduces wound level per 5 minutes. Major Wound-Wound-Minor Wound-No Wound.)

Experience: At a young age, Essyila learned to love the ocean from her cousin, Queen Tydra Nept. Any time she could escape the suffocating supervision of her family and royal guards, she spent it exploring the ocean and practicing her song on its various inhabitants. In fact, it was during one of these outings, that she found an injured sea turtle, tangled in an elaborately woven fishing net. It must have been stuck for some time, for the fibers had cut deeply into its skin. She sang to the turtle in hopes of calming it down while she worked to untangle it, all while applying her control of liquids to keep the turtle's blood inside its body. Unable to free the helpless turtle herself, she brought the entire entanglement back to her mother and begged her to heal it. At first, Essyila's mother indulged her frivolity. However, as she kept bringing new "patients" home, her mother insisted that she be the one to care for them. So began Essyila's medical training, utilizing the injured animals she retrieved from her now supervised oceanic excursions. Unfortunately, she developed slowly, struggling to grasp the basics of conventional healing practices, and instead opted to rely on her more intuitive blood control abilities to treat the animals. This unconventional and unproven method of healing did not sit well with her mother, who insisted Essyila was not yet ready to treat human patients. Even so, she continued to practice her technique until she felt comfortable enough to request a position on Tydra's next expedition to keep the other members alive as they dove to the lowest depths. While seemingly appreciative of Essyila's enthusiasm, Tydra rejected the offer "for Essyila's own protection."
Motivation: Essyila has been coddled and underestimated her entire life. She strives to prove herself the equal of any of the Tearian royals, despite her lack of natural physical prowess. Perhaps then she’ll finally be afforded the opportunity to help the ones she holds most dear.
